Tracewell Systems to Exhibit at the Tactical Technology Showcase
June 18, 2009
COLUMBUS, Ohio-Tracewell Systems is pleased to announce its involvement with the Tactical Technology Showcase at Warner Robins Air Force Base. The Showcase, presented by the 5th Combat Communications Group stationed at Warner Robins Air Force Base, will feature a wide variety of tactical equipment, mobile communications, surveillance and reconnaissance equipment, ruggedized solutions, training and simulation capabilities, and transportation and logistics equipment.
The July 1, 2009 event will showcase the latest technologies, including Tracewell's Rugged Mobile E-Tool Management Cabinet. This Mobile E-Tool Manager supports Interactive Electronic Tech Manuals (IETM) for aircraft maintenance. "The E-Tool chassis family can host from 4-14 rugged laptops enabling secured communications, battery charging, common access card (CAC) access, RFID asset tracking and electronic drawer administration," states Rob Harris, director of sales & marketing. "Additionally, the Rugged Deployed Mobile E-Tool version can manage worldwide input power converting the power source to standard 110 A/C. The system doesn't discriminate between power sources such as shipboard, generator or international power. The Mobile E-Tool will convert and condition power for safe operation." Tracewell Systems also supports High Velocity Maintenance, which allows the operation of Mobile E-Tool Manager in harsh environmental conditions on the flight deck.
